Eco-friendly cleaning favorites with less waste!

I got my Grove kit promo flyer in our every plate box when we were using it. Unfortunately, we no longer use every plate, because I had a lot of morning sickness when we were cooking it, and I just couldn’t do the onions which were in almost every meal. I signed up for Grove, and I ended up liking the product as much as I liked the concept of refilling supplies and minimizing my impact on the environment. I also wanted to get rid of some of the harsh chemicals like ammonia, and make sure the supplies were safer for the dog.

Favorite cleaners

The concentrates make two bottles for around $7.99. You recycle the little bottles, and they take up less room in your house which is so important to me. The best part is that these cleaned dog snot off of the window better than ammonia window cleaners. I was impressed. I like to order my glass cleaner in the lavender blossom and thyme scent, and put them in my green grove bottle with the label glass.

I use the orange and rosemary for my multi-purpose cleaner and have spray bottles in bathrooms in the kitchen. I put them in my orange bottle and switch the label to multi-purpose.Citrus always smells clean and sometimes they have seasonal scents that I’m always sad that I miss out on. I ship every other month so usually I just shipped my auto order and change it as needed.

Other favorites

I also get my method supplies, such as stainless steel and floor cleaner from Grove. I was on a search for a cleaner shaving cream and discovered the brand alba Botanica. Occasionally I will try other brands when I feel like I need to add a little self-care to my box every other month.

Pros and cons

My pros are that everything is coming to my door and I don’t have to go out and get it. I don’t run out and compromise for products that are lesser quality. You do not have to order every month and your items that are saved can skip shipments. Grove emails you before your order shipped too! Because they email me, I ship about two days early and select a free gift from from my cart. Cons are that they added a supply chain fee to keep up with the post pandemic life, which we all know will be dealing with until at least 2027. There is also a small subscription fee once a year, but the free gift makes up for it. You will also be able to select freebies from time to time, and limited edition glass bottles do go on clearance if you’re looking to stock up or have different glass bottles for other rooms in your house.
