Motivation Monday is all about pausing this week.
Many aspects of self-care seem counterintuitive until we break them down. Quite simply, you have to be rested and recharge from time to time to be able to have energy to live the life that you choose.
When you are overwhelmed your mind is telling you to slow down. There are many things that can wait, or there are things that can be prioritized. If you don’t want to procrastinate, you might want to make a list for later. Write down your list of to dos with good intentions, and know that it is not the end of the world if they don’t get done this second. There is a time for them, and it is absolutely tomorrow. Listen when your mind is telling you: Quiet.
